My lids are custom made to fit your tank perfectly. They are made from 9.5mm clear polycarbonate, and have a clear polypropylene mesh. They have a lip that goes all the way around the lid that sits on your aquarium rim so that most of the lid sits below the rim.
Price includes most customisations including light mount cutouts, chord slots, weir cutouts, feeding doors, auto feeding cutouts and more.
Once purchased, please use the guide in the photos to measure up your aquarium and send to me via email at nick@nvsaquariums.com.au Draw in any additional features or cutouts you require with as much detail as possible. Please provide accurate measurements to the nearest mm as I will make allowances for gaps. It also pays to include a few photos of the top of your tank and any equipment that may impact the lid.
S1 lids have a solid polycarbonate frame and a clear polypropylene mesh similar to the RedSea and Cade mesh.
X1 lids have a vented polycarbonate frame and a clear polypropylene mesh. The design difference is purely for aesthetics, however they are a little lighter.
Frozen food feeding lid is as pictured, and will be provided in addition to a standard feeding lid if purchased. The cup size is 80mm in diameter and 60mm deep.
Lids are also available in a solid 6mm clear polycarbonate (no mesh) ideally for freshwater aquariums.
Evaporation covers are a piece of 2mm thin clear polycarbonate cut it fit into and cover the large cutouts in the centre of the lids.
Anti-salt creep feet are small 1mm raised sections around the lip of the lid that allow water to drain back into the tank when splashed. They are only really needed on lids if you have fish that splash. Having this option will allow more water to splash out of the tank under the lid, but also allows it to drain away and dry up and reduce salt creep.
